STAY LIGHT, CATCH MORE
THE PERFECT LURES FOR FINESSE FISHING
Spin fishing with small and light lures on UL tackle has become much more than just a trend. Finesse fishing is not only extremely successful, but also very versatile. Nowadays, trout area style fishing is very popular on many commercial fishing ponds. But ultra-light spin fishing is also very often the technique of choice for perch and other species in lakes. And even on small streams, you can offer tiny lures very precisely and fish microspots very efficiently.
Fly fishing impressively demonstrates that small lures are super catchy and can also fool large and shy fish. However, lures for fly fishing are usually too light even for UL spin fishing. We have developed our spin fly lures specifically for finesse fishing. They have enough weight so that you can cast and fish them with a light spinning rod without any problems. When designing the individual patterns, we benefit from our many years of experience in this area. As a result, these spin flies are just as catchy as classic flies.
We offer a wide range of different spin flies, so you are sure to find the right lure for your target fish and your favourite waters.
FLOATING SPIN FLIES
Our floating spin flies are sufficiently weighted versions of very successful patterns so that you can still fish them very well with a light spinning rod. Due to the special materials used for construction, these spin fly lures swim excellently and for long even in turbulent water. Thanks to the Dryfly Balance System (D.B.S.), the buoyant materials are positioned in such a way that these spin flies not only float, but also stay very naturally on the surface. A fish can hardly resist these super-realistic imitations of mayflies, bees, wasps, grasshoppers, spiders and other insects. Moreover, fishing with surface lures is really exciting and the takes are extremely spectacular.
SINKING SPIN FLIES
Our sinking spin flies are very attractive and realistic imitations of of insect larvae, which make up the majority of the diet of most fish species. If the fish are not active on the surface but are looking for food under water, these spin flies are just the right lure. Thanks to their natural appearance and matching proportions, these tantalising lures will also attract shy fish to the hook. These compact lures are easy to cast with UL tackle and you can place these spin flies with pinpoint accuracy even in confined spaces. Due to the eye of the jig hooks being bent towards the hook point, our sinking spin flies work with the hook pointing upwards, minimising the risk of snags even if you fish them close to the bottom.
PROPELLER FLIES
With these lures, the propeller installed behind the eye of the hook creates a sensory stimulus through the vibrations, which the fish perceive with their sensitive lateral line organ even at greater distances. The light reflexes of the fast-spinning propeller, the bright contrasting colours and lively, playful tails make our propeller flies even more eye-catching. Especially in waters with high fishing pressure, these lures can often make all the difference.
SQUIRMY WORMY
Even though the pattern was designed for fly fishing the Squirmy Wormy is so catchy that it has been banned from some waters that are designated for fly fishing only. No wonder, as it perfectly imitates a worm, leech or larva. The soft silicone or chenille body moves absolutely seductive when you bring it to life with little twitches. Thanks to the attached weight, it is also ideal for finesse fishing. Whether commercial fishing pond or small meadow stream, Squirmy Wormys should not be missing from any lure box.
