REALISTIC IMITATIONS, ELABORATELY CRAFTED BY HAND

Our floating spin flies are modelled on their natural counterparts down to the smallest detail. Our lure makers have found the ideal compromise to give the individual patterns sufficient buoyancy through the amount of apposite material on the one hand and to design the patterns so that their silhouette comes as close as possible to the real insects on the other. This is because the fish primarily look at these floating spin flies from below against the bright sky and therefore mainly perceive the outlines and movements of the bait. The fine fibres of the feathers used, and the thin and flexible silicone legs breathe life into these lures.

The buoyancy ball not only keeps your floating Spin fly reliably on the surface even in turbulent water, but also helps you to keep an eye on your lure more easily thanks to the clearly visible colours. Due to its position on the top of the lure, this ball is practically invisible to the fish.

A lure with all these requirements can only be produced by hand. It is certainly no exaggeration to call them small works of art, because these replicas of mayflies, caddis flies, beetles, grasshoppers, bees, wasps and spiders are truly impressive.

To ensure that even cautious and shy fish do not arouse suspicion, the proportions, shapes and movement must not only be right, but the spin flies must also float in the correct position on the surface. These floating spin flies are not only very attractive, but also extremely catchy. Unlike many other surface lures, they do not need to be moved around much to attract fish. This is why they are perfect for use in small, overgrown and highly structured waters, where other lures have long since left the hotspot before they have even started to work properly. Our spin flies, then again, put you into fishing at the exact moment they touch the surface. You can therefore place these floating spin flies precisely in a small duckweed in the middle of dense vegetation or in the smallest backwater behind a stone in the current and hold them there long enough to fool even the wariest fish.

Thanks to their excellent swimming properties, these spin flies are also ideal for fishing under overhanging vegetation in flowing waters, where primarily large and shy fish use to hide. Simply place your swimming spin fly slightly above and let it drift under the overhanging vegetation with the current.
